Part 1: Promotion

  • Commercial signage
    • Exterior permanent signage
    • Tourism signage (including Tourisme Québec blue signs)
  • New Web site creation
  • Professional graphic design

Part 2: Marketing study

  • Marketing plan or study prepared by a professional firm

All financial aid requests must be accompanied by at least three quotes from local businesses as much as possible.

 

ADMISSIBLE EXPENSES

  • Professional graphic design costs
  • Professional production costs
  • Approved translation costs
  • Professional costs related to a study

NON ADMISSIBLE EXPENSES

  • Promotional materials such as pens, shirts, hats, etc.
  • Non permanent signage
  • Interior signage
  • Expenses related to the replacement of an existing sign

NATURE OF FINANCIAL AID

  • The aid accorded is non-reimbursable providing that the contract is respected.
  • The aid is in the form of reimbursement of 50% of admissible expenses.
  • The maximum aid is $5,000 per business for the total duration of the program.

All authorized projects will be the subject of a contract between the CLD Pontiac and the beneficiary which will define the conditions of disbursement of the financial aid and the obligations of the parties.

Each request will be analysed by the CLD Pontiac Investment Committee who will make the final decision.


RESTRICTIONS

The financial aid from federal and provincial governments and from the CLD Pontiac cannot exceed 50% of the admissible expenses of the project.

The sum of subsidies received from the CLD may not exceed $ 10,000 per business or promoter.

Consumption taxes (GST and QST) are not admissible expenses.

All projects must meet the requirements of the Charte de la langue française and must conform to municipal bylaws.

Expenditures related to the project but made prior to the receipt by the CLD Pontiac of the official request for assistance, are not admissible.

If judged necessary by the Investment Committee, the program criteria, as described above, can be revised during the year.

The Investment Committe has the right to refuse projects if they do not respect the CLD general regulations.
